The head of Brand, Communications & Tourism reports to the Secretary and primarily supports the Minister for Tourism and Major Events.
The Brand, Communications & Tourism Division comprises the four groups of Strategy & Policy, Tourism Victoria, Strategic Communications and Brand Victoria.
Strategy & Policy is responsible for development of whole-of-Department marketing policy, in addition to tourism policy and major events policy.
Tourism Victoria is responsible for all the legislative commitments specified under the Tourism Victoria Commission Act 1992.
Strategic Communications is responsible for delivering effective and cohesive Departmental communications.
Brand Victoria is responsible for delivering marketing activities across all Divisions. These marketing activities include campaigns, product development, events and e-marketing.
