The 2008-09 Budget delivers $7.9 million for Stage 1 of the Geelong Cultural Precinct to make Victoria’s second city even more liveable.


The 2008-09 State Budget delivers $1.43 billion cut to taxes and business costs to provide a stronger environment for small business growth.


The 2008-09 Budget commits $35.1 million in new funding to boost regional tourism, deliver international marketing initiatives and promote Victoria as a major business events destination.


The 2008-09 Budget delivers $158.8 million in new and upgraded information, communications, technology (ICT) initatives to ensure more comprehensive and effective management of key services in public health, education and transport.


The 2008-09 Budget included a $94 million skills and employment package.
