Corporate Services & Development
Purpose
Corporate Services and Development has the role of developing the organisation and provides systems, services and infrastructure to support line Divisions in their ability to deliver core services to clients. It has primary responsibility for:
- People, including organisational development
- Finance, including grants administration and procurement
- Information management and technology, including records management
- Legal, Audit and Risk, which also includes Freedom of Information, business improvement and environmental services
Structure
The are four Branches of Corporate Services and Development

People Services
Manages the Department's human resource management systems, services, policies, and programs that attract, retain and assist in the development of a skilled and collaborative workforce. The group includes the function of organisational development.
Finance
Provides financial management services for the Department and its senior management and encompasses the services of finance, grants administration, procurement and financial systems support and development.
Information Management and Technology
Provides the Department with technology, ITC and web based services, and records management services.
Legal, Audit and Risk
Provides the Department with legislative and legal services (including FOI, whistleblowers and privacy), risk management, audit and probity services, as well as business improvement and environmental.
